“I like digging holes. Do you? 
Join us at Penn Nursery at 9am to help dig holes for the
planting that will take place the following week. The holes don’t need to be very deep, but we need about 800 of them, and the location is rocky, so any help is much appreciated.”

If you would like to volunteer to help with chestnut orchard activities at Penn State contact Noah Vincent, PSU Orchard Manager. He can add you to a contact list so you will be notified about volunteer days. Activities vary depending on the season and include: harvest, shucking, planting, cleaning pots, planting, and inoculation.
