Check out these upcoming outreach events: As you know, we attend a number of community events throughout the year to educate the public about the work that TACF is doing to restore the American chestnut.This is a fun way to get involved and learn more about our efforts.

We hope you will join us by volunteering to represent TACF at one or more event. If you would like to represent TACF at an event near you, please email Jean at to find out how. Below you will find a few events coming up in April and May. We need volunteers for each of these events in order to participate.

April 29 — Earth Day Festival at the Pocono Environmental Education Center – Pike County

10:00 am- 4:00 pm

Location: Emery Road, Emery Rd, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328, USA

Description: The PA/NJ Chapter is seeking a volunteer to represent us at this small community event. Help celebrate the Earth at this fun family event in Pike County!

April 29 — Lancaster Native Plant and Wildlife Festival – Lancaster County

9:00 am- 4:00 pm
