Spring Field Planting of 700+ Chestnut Seedlings
Monday, May 22 & Tuesday, May 23, 2023
9:00 am – 4:00 pm — Tuesday may end early if all seedlings are planted.
Chestnut Research Orchard North
Join us at the Penn State Arboretum to help plant over 700 seedlings. These will be used in future screening work and as a seed orchard for new material. Water, snacks, and gloves will be provided. Please bring a water bottle, lunch, knee pads (if desired), and any of your gardening non-negotiables like your favorite gloves. Map and directions will be emailed to volunteers.
