PA/NJ TACF | 2021 Fall Member Meeting

Join us for our 2021 Fall Member meeting at the Allen Theatre in Annville, Pennsylvania We are looking forward to coming back together as a community to learn, socialize, and share our passion for the American chestnut and the restoration work that lies ahead. Plans for our Fall Meeting include a coffee social and lunch catered  by the Allen Theatre’s Backstage Cafe. Programming will include presentations by guest speakers Doug Tallamy from the University of Delaware and Kimberly Bohn, from Penn State Mont Alto with an update from Sara Fitzsimmons, Director of Restoration.

Our program will begin with a 45 minute coffee social including light snacks and refreshments. Come early to greet old friends and meet new members. Chapter President, Jim Searing will call the meeting to order with welcome notes and Chapter news. Our guest speakers will make their presentations in the morning followed by lunch. We will wrap up after lunch with an update from Director of Restoration, Sara Fitzsimmons.

A small fee will be charged to cover the cost of this event. Look for more details on registration in September.

Please note: Though we are excited to be planning an in person meeting this fall, we are continuing to monitor CDC guidelines. As the situation evolves we will do what is necessary to keep attendees safe including moving the meeting to an online event.
