Seeking Volunteers Who Are Penn State Football Fans Too!

Huddle with the Faculty @ Penn State

 

The Penn State University Alumni Association’s “Huddle with the Faculty” series seeks to enlighten and inform alumni, friends, and fans on home game Saturdays during the Fall Football season at Beaver Stadium.

We are thrilled to have the opportunity to reach this Penn State audience.

When: Saturday, November 10, 2018 — 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (Wisconsin vs. Penn State game start-time TBD).

Where: Nittany Lion Inn Ballroom, University Park, PA

Schedule:

8:30 a.m.  Doors open, continental breakfast is available, the room is set in round tables

9:00 a.m. Alumni Association Welcome

9:05 a.m. Introduction by Dr. Kim Steiner, Director of the Arboretum at Penn State and Presentation by Sara Fitzsimmons, Director of Restoration for The American Chestnut Foundation

Presentation: “Restoration of the American Chestnut Tree”

9:45  Presentation concludes to allow time for Q&A

10:00 a.m.  Sara and Chapter volunteers will field questions and assist with assist with a chestnut tasting.

This program is free and open to all, even fans of the visiting team!

Limited space, get there early (seating for 175)
